Michelle Barker Obituary
She was born in Boston, Mass., Feb. 24, 1973, and was raised in Billerica, Mass.
She graduated from Shawsheen Technical School in Billerica and then studied to become a licensed master barber and cosmetologist. Michelle also graduated from New Hampshire Technical College and later received her bachelor's degree in education from Franklin Pierce College.
Michelle was a veteran serving with the U.S. Air Force from 1993-1997. She was employed at Bedford Barbers in Bedford, Mass., her family's barber shop.
While residing in Billerica she was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church and more recently made her home in Nottingham the past six years coming from Rochester. Her enjoyment was her beloved animals.
Family members include her husband, Troy Barker of Nottingham; her parents, William and Carolyn (Kinnally) Cote; her brother, Chad Cote, all of Billerica, Mass.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
The family suggests donations to the NH S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
