David Cluff, I never knew or met you, but I'm a comic collector who saw your childhood request for a pen pal in the December 1967 issue (#46) of 'Drag Cartoons'. I hope your (pen)friends, whoever they were and wherever you met them, brought you happiness.

From time-to-time over the past decade or so, David & I would chat in the office. He was one of the good guys. Sorry to see you go... Rest in peace & may the grace of God always surround you...

I'm happy to know that David was at home with family and friends when he passed. I will really miss his dry humor here in Child Support Services.

I'm really sorry to see this. David and I worked for the same County department for about 14 years and had the good fortune to talk to him most days. He was always upbeat, funny, friendly and a genuine--if sometimes irreverent--joy. I am saddened for you, family, but glad for the time I spent with him. Rest in peace, friend!

I am very sad! David was one of my first friends after my family moved to North Berwick in 1959 (from Conn). We had quite the antics together. We grew apart for many years. In 2013 we re connected on Facebook! He wrote and told me that he had a wonderful job and was very happy. I am also 61! He (and his whole family) accepted me as I am. One time I had no shoes and he gave me a pair. I loved them and wore them proudly! I have thought a lot about all of this ever since my sister called me to tell me of his passing. I am sooo happy that someone was nice enough to bring him back home where he belongs to rest in peace. Growing up is hard, but we both did it! David is being sadly missed.
Love to you David!

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. David was a classmate and remember those good old days at Noble High School. I was happy to hear that his last trip was with our other classmate and dear friend Ann, she was always a ray of sunshine to be around and a wonderful person..he couldn't have had a better person by his side for his trip home. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
