Jennie Tingle Obituary

Mrs. Jennie Tingle, 80, of Thurmont, passed away at home on August 13, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Wilbur J. "Bill" Tingle, who passed in 1983.

Born June 24, 1932 in Chicago, she met her future husband on a trip to Biloxi, MS, where Bill was stationed while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Jennie and Bill moved to the Washington, DC area in 1973, where they settled and raised their family. Jennie loved shopping, Orioles and Redskins games, and dining with family and friends. She also had her hair and nails perfectly done every Friday.

She is survived by her son, Kenric J. Tingle; her daughter, Lorinda A. Tingle; three sisters, Mary, Dolly, and Lilly; three grandchildren, and sev- eral other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18 at OurLady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 103 N. Church St. in Thurmont; the Rev. Lawrence Donohoo will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.

We are so sorry to hear of Jennie's passing.
We are unable to attend her funeral because
Barbara & Richard are out of town and I'm afraid to leave Bobby now as his cancer had
advanced and hospice has been called in.
We have sent flowers to Jennie., and will be thinking about your tomorrow. We do want very much to see you two.. It has much too long Lorinda & Kenric. Please let me know your address & phone number so that we may set-up something at a later date.
Kenric, you Mom said many times that she did not know how she could cope if you had not been there to take care of her. When she counted her blessings you were number one on her list. I know Lorinda also helped and she also deserves credit too. Please accept our sincere sympathy in the passing of your Mom. I know she was loved very much.
Please remember that Jesus tells us that he will comfort those who mourn. I know from personal experience that we only need to turn to him at this time. May God bless you both.
Love,
Judy & Family
and
Richard & Barbara
