Jesse Lee Doody

Mr. Jesse Lee Doody, 61, of New Market, MD died of pancreatic cancer on September 23, 2011 at Kline Hospice House, Mt.Airy, MD. He was the husband of Kathy L. Doody.

Born on September 3, 1950 in Olney, MD, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Martha Howard Doody.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jamie L. Krute and husband Jason of California and Shannon M. Doody and fianc_ Bryan Lowry of SC. Stepdaughter Staci N. Lawall and husband John of Elkridge, MD. Step-granddaughter Braelynn Lawall. Brothers, Paul L. Doody Jr. and wife Marianne of Union Bridge, MD, Wayne Doody and wife Debbie of Keymar, MD, David Doody and wife Carole of Union Bridge, MD, Robert Doody and wife Sherrie of Woodsboro, MD, Mike Doody and wife Liz of Union Bridge, MD and Craig Doody and wife Lisa of New Market, MD. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Doody and a sister Paulette Doody. Jesse leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Jesse worked in the automotive industry most of his working career and most recently with The Frederick Motor Company in Frederick, MD. as a service advisor.

Jesse was an avid golfer, spending most Sundays at Rattlewood Golf Course in Mt. Airy, MD with his friends and family. A favorite pastime was watching Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees games; he was a lifetime fan of both teams. He enjoyed spending time at his vacation home in Myrtle Beach, SC.

There will be no public viewing the family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Wednesday September 28, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A. 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where services will be held on Thursday September 29, at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
