MELVIN FITE

Jack was born March 4, 1918 in Bates, Ark. and passed away December 24, 2012 in Fresno, at the age of 94. He spent most of his life in Parlier and Reedley, farming, trucking and as a Labor Contractor. He enjoyed his family, church, friends, gardening, his cowboy hat and boots. He was preceded in death by Lorraine, his wife of 71 years. Jack is survived by his two sons, Morris Fite, Kevin Fite and his wife Carol. Three daughters, Wanda Ogata, Anna Thompsen and her husband Richard, Paula Sanchez and her husband Joe. His brother, Pete Fite and his wife Marcie. Seven grandchildren, and eleven great grand children. A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer's Church, 819 W. Parlier Ave. Reedley, on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be sent to Conerstone Community Church, 2160 11th St. Reedley, Ca. 93654; or the donor's favorite charity.
