KENNETH FUJII Obituary

Ken passed away in Fresno, CA on Friday, May 9, 2014, after a long illness. He was born in Fresno on July 6, 1938, and he grew up in Fowler, CA Ken was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Fujii and his mother, Irene Fujii; and his half-sister the Rev. Mrs. Penney Fujii. He is survived by Ellen Parsons Fujii, his dear wife and partner of 47 years; his brother, Lynn Fujii and his wife Catharina Fujii; his half-brother, the Rev. Christopher Fujii and his daughter, Kelley Fujii and his son David Fujii; his half-brother, Curtis Fujii and his wife Janice Fujii and their daughter, Cynthia Fujii. Ken met his wife Ellen at the Harvard Graduate School of Design for post graduate studied in Architecture. They op-ened their own architectural practice in Fresno as Fujii-Parsons, Inc. in 1971 designing primarily office and commercial complexes. Remembrances may be made to Evangel Home, Inc. 137 N. Ken was a classmate and friend from Fowler. We had a lot of experiences together and I was saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to Ellen and Ken's family.
