Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same
They are the thousand winds that blow,
They are the diamond glints on early snow,
They are the sunlight on the ripened grain,
They are the gentle breeze and autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
They are the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
They are the brightest stars that shine at night.
Do not think of them as gone -
As they'll always be with us in each new dawn.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me
Place them in this couple's arms
And tell them they're from me
In Loving Memory of Floyd and Violet Hartwig

Sorry for your loss but you are blessed to have such wonderful parents. My grandparents met on a Greyhound bus out of Chicago and married 1 year later till they passed in 2003 and 2004. I miss them everyday. My grandma said on her deathbed"son I'm going to heaven, promise me I'll see you there" and I promised her that I would.
God bless you
