ALICE DAUER CHEESEMAN

Alice Cheeseman was born on June 19, 1922, in Fresno, CA, to Margaret and Philip Dauer. Bright and athletic, she won two "Valley" titles as a tennis player. She was the valedictorian of her high school class at Central High School. She married Earl, the love of her life, on December 26, 1941, who preceded her in death. Along with her husband, sister and brother-in-law, she ran Cheeseman and Steitz grocery store in Biola, CA. After retirement, Earl and she traveled and played golf. She attended the church in Biola that her grandfather helped start. She was a Sunday school teacher there for many years. On December 17, 2017, she went home to be with the Lord and her husband. She is survived by her children, Deanna and Bill Scheideman, Bert and Kathleen Cheeseman, and Lynne and Bill Valoff; grandchildren, Anthony and Michelle Scheideman, Gina- Marie Cheeseman, Niki and Joey Ghimenti, Greg Valoff, Aimee and Shea Dexheimer, Nic and Denise Valoff, and Christopher Valoff; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Marcus Scheideman, Stephen Dexheimer, Noah and Ella Ghimenti, and Gunner and Crew Valoff. The family would like to thank Stephanie, Jamie, Jill, and CC for their loving care and devotion.
