Joey I have known you since Jess and my daughter were in "diaper" school together along with your beautiful wife Tammy. You were such a good man and loved your daughters and Tammy it was so obvious in your eyes and heart and soul. I have many pictures of you and your family and I see nothing but pride you have with your "girls" surrounding you. Your girls and Shirley and the extended family will always be in my prayers and we take comfort in knowing that you are with the love of your life in heaven and you will no longer have sorrow and suffering. RIP Joey, in your heart you were a truly loving and giving person

i love you daddy!

Joey, we fussed but I know it was only because you loved me and cared. I will always remember the fun we had fishing, making fun of my mom, the wonderful back rubs you gave, singing with you,and no one will ever be better than you at removing splinters. I always loved hearing you tell people how smart I am. I’ll always remember you crying when I gave you the watch, and how you loved to show it off. I will always laugh at the Christmas you gave me the ammunition for my gun not realizing Mom had not given me my gun yet. You’re the only person I trusted to ride me on the big 4-wheeler. I’m team Edward but I'll not hold it against you for being on team Jacob. I’m sorry I could not come tell you goodbye. I love you.

Even though I've only seen you a handful of times, the times I did you always wanted to father me. Not really having a father in my life, it really meaned a lot. You were always nice and sweet. I'm just glad you aren't in pain anymore. Your daughters will make it through; this is coming from someone that lost their father last year. I know your spirit will live on around all your loved ones. Thank you for taking care of my cousin Racheal and her daugher Anna. I know you loved them both dearly.

Uncle Joey, I have so many wonderful memories with you and Aunt Tammy. Then you had my sweet Jessie and soon to follow my baby girl Jamie. My dad was not in my life and you always made me feel special, like I was one of your girls. I promise to share all of those loving memories with your babies. I know that the past few years have been hard but now you are in heaven with the love of your life. I love you.

My heart hurts for each of you. I know that there is nothing I can say that wil ease the pain. Having just gone through losing Wes (my husband) 8 months ago, I know that it is something that takes time. I realize that all of have suffered many losses through the years. Just remember to draw close to God on the days that it hurts to breathe. He is always there for us. Joey was a great guy. I had seen him several times in the last few years. I was able to sit and talk to him last year for over an hour when we bumped into each other. Girls, your father was proud of both of you. I can not imagine the pain that the two of you feel. You have two angels watching over you all the time. Your dad would have never left you on purpose but I can only imagine how excited he was to see your mother. I knew her too and she was a great person as well. Jason and Shirley, My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I struggled with what to say and I know that words sometimes hurt as much as they comfort. I love you all. Joey, rest in peace. You will be missed.

Daddy, I love you so much! And I miss you more than anything in this world, I miss your silly little grin, your laugh, how you used to tickle me. I miss everything about you. I never thought id have to go through this twice. I always thought id have you here to walk me down the isle when I got married. This is still so hard to believe because I thought you were invincible and noone could ever hurt you. I wish I would have spent more time with you when I could. And ill never forget killing my first deer with you or catching my first fish. We always had fun when we did stuff together. But now you are up in heaven with mommy and you can be happy now that your with her! I love both of you so much!

I'm thankful for the wonderful memories that we have shared over the last four years. We have laughed, cried, fought, but most of all we have loved. I'll miss hunting and fishing with you. I'll miss your laugh. I'll never forget you waking me up several times in the middle of the night only to have me watch Two and a Half Men episodes with you, and the fact that watched over and over, laughing until you hurt. You have made me a better cook, I loved cooking with you. I'm greatful to of met you and to have been loved by you. I love you babe, and will miss you very much.
