Mary Homesley Obituary

Mary Willbanks Homesley went to be with her heavenly Father on December 5, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Evelyn Chestnut; two brothers, Calvin and Billy Chestnut; and her first husband, Henry Willbanks.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Homesley; son, Guy Russell Willbanks; grandson, Austin Lee Willbanks; three stepchildren, Belinda Heath, Vann and Jason Homesley; a number of stepgrandchildren; sister, Jo Ann (Emery) McMahan; and brother, Lamar (Bobbie) Chestnut.
Mary spent most of her life in Etowah County, with the last eight years in Jacksonville, Ala.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. The family will accept friends Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ray Chestnut, Steve Johnson, Ricky Heath, Dustin McMahan, Vann Homesley and Gerald Homesley.
