Charlie Lemons Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Lemons, 96, Attalla, will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Garrard, the Rev. Jackie Bentley and the Rev. Theresa Chapman officiating. Cremation will be provided after services at the Morgan Crematory.
Mr. Lemons was a Christian and attended the Church of Love. He loved outdoors, gardening and people. Charlie was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Lemons; and grandson, Jerry Lemons Jr.
Survivors include daughter, Doris Jackson (Jerry); son, Jerry Lemons; grandchildren, Randall Lemons (Mary Rose), Rodney Lemons (Barbara), Ronda Horrbin (Greg), Scott Lemons (Sherrie), Matthew W. Jackson, C.J. Jackson, Virginia (James) O'Bryant; sister, Maude Benefield; brother, Andrew Lemons; 14 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Debora Reiland and staff.
Special thanks to Alacare and staff with special thanks to Beth Cline. Mr. Lemons will remain at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.

I remember Charlie from Fountains. I use to work there with my mom along time ago. Charlie was my Favorite Man. I ask my mom about him all the time. Charlie you were a special Man to me, I have always loved you. R.I.P
