Ruth Martin Obituary
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Alvin Turner will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Steele Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L. Martin; daughter, Barbara Ann Ebner; parents, Bud and Nancy Barnes; and by three brothers and six sisters.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, James (Inis) Ellis; grandchildren, Pam (Roy) Van Netta, James W. Ellis Jr., Karen Lynn Purkey, Terry (Dave) Vergano and Brian (Tommie) Ebner; son-in-law, Kent D. Ebner; extended grandchildren, Vicki Langley, Bill (Jean) Langley, Lisa (Kurt) Nassif and Justin Langley; special niece, Margret Beason; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers on F Hall at Attalla Healthcare, to Dr. Patel and also to the staff of seventh floor at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be Bill Langley, Kyle Nassif, Kurt Nassif, Roy Van Netta, Austin Van Netta and Justin Langley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
