Mavis Duncan Obituary

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mavis Duncan, 85, of Attalla, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016. The Rev. Eddie Stephenson will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Duncan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her son, Danny Duncan; grandchildren, Danielle (Doug) Wise and Shane (Ginger) Duncan; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Baylee Wise; and Quincie, Cami and Baxlie Duncan; sister, Erma Aldridge; brother, Buddy Pinkerton; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.
Special thanks to Evelyn Bellew and Shannon Brady.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. before the service.
