I read once that: When a loved one becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. I believe that to be too true, God Bless and keep you all strong until we all meet together on the other side. See you later Aunt Earlene!

Nana was the best grandmother anyone could have. She was intelligent, fun, and creative. I was and always will be inspired by her stories and personality. We will miss her a lot.

Aunt Earlene was a sweet lady, one of the few people in life beside my mom that could tell my dad to do something and he would do it. You will be missed dearly.

Earlene was one of the most beautiful, special women that I have known. She had the most wicked sense of humor that just made laugh out loud when I was with her. I am honored to have known her. She will be missed.

Earlene Blackburn Nicoletti was a special lady--one with a friendly, positive "can-do, will-do" attitude. She cared deeply about her husband, Paul, and three lovely daughters, Diana, Julie, and Nancy. Importantly, she cared as well for those with whom she shared her considerable skills as a professional nurse in numerous hospitals of the USA, and four years as the Teheran American School nurse in Iran.
Earlene was easy to meet, impossible to forget. We will miss her immensely, but we are pleased to have benefited from her sterling example and tested wisdom. May Earlene's kind multiply and replenish the earth.
Near Earlene's birthplace in southwest Missouri is the National Monument honoring Dr. George Washington Carver. Numerous quotations of Dr. Carver are displayed. One reads: "No individual has any right to come into this world and go out of it, without leaving behind distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it." Earlene earned that challenging legacy.

I will always remember nana and her love for jewelry. She made me and julia laugh all the time and would give us basically anything we wanted. She was such an awesome grandmother and i will remember her every time I eat lasagna or open my jewelry box.

I will dearly miss Earlene. . She was the kindest mother in law a man could have. I will still remember her each day when I see my wife, Nancy because of all the values that were given to her by her mom. Earlene was honest and deeply cared for others and their feelings. Her kindness is something that we all could learn from. The world needs more people like her. I am happy to at least been able to know for her as long as I did. After 30 years, it still seems like the time as passed so fast. It is at least some relief to know that she is now in a place where she will be for ever safe from pain or suffering. With all my love,

Paul,

Earlene made this world a better place, her generosity and compassion for her family, friends and strangers was evident in everything she did. She gave as a wife, mother, nurse and a volunteer. It has always been said that children are a reflection of their parent’s upbringing. That will be one of her and your greatest legacy’s raising 3 beautiful children.

I am very sorry for your loss, She will be missed, God Bless,

Craig

Paul,
I was just surprised beyond belief when I read about Earlene. She was such a dear person and I loved working with her at the VA. She inspired me to be a better nurse by her total professional manner. My heart is so sad. You are in my thoughts.

Earlene - My husband and I will always miss you. Greg wishes he had more days to walk you from the Food Court to Penney's and will always hold you in our hearts. May the Grace of God be with you and please pray for us in the light of God.
