Mary Arnold Obituary

ARNOLD, MARY C.

Mary Clark Arnold, 86, of Gainesville, went to be with the Lord, following a brief illness with cancer. Mrs. Arnold was born in Fieldale, Virginia and moved to Gainesville in 1961. She was a homemaker and owned a beauty salon for many years. Mary was an active member at Northwest Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with the children. She was also very active with foreign missionaries with her husband Jim.

She was preceded in death by a grandson David Arnold and her twin sister, Estelle Clark of Fieldale, VA. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jim Arnold, Jr., sons Jim Arnold, III (Peggy) and Eugene Arnold (Patty), grandchildren Angie, Kelli, and Emily and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Northwest Baptist Church, 5514 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL with her pastor, Dr. Craig Canton officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 1-2:00 PM. Interment services will be private.
