Theodore Tindall Obituary
Newberry - Theodore "Ted" Tindall, age 57 of Newberry, Fl. passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at Haven Hospice of Chiefland after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 28, 1951 in Melbourne, Fl.
He proudly served his country in The Marines, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was employed in the manufacturing industry having worked at Mark III in Ocala, Monterey Boats in Williston, and Strickland Construction in Chiefland. He was previously employed in the family business at Sunshine Stud/Horse Haven in Orange Lake, Fl.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, Bob Tindall and Margaret Holland, his sister Debbie Farber, and his first wife and son, Kathy and John Tindall.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Melinda Davis Tindall, daughter Melanie (Chuck) Chandler James, sons; Ryan (Cheryl) Tindall, Josh (Albina) Tindall, Jon Tindall and Jared Tindall and by his wonderful grandchildren Hope and Grace James, Brittney, Ashely, Caitlyn and Wyatt Tindall, Hailey Tindall and Leann Faith Tindall.
He is also survived by his brothers James (Diane) Tindall, Bert (Karen) Tindall and Ray (Jeannie) Tindall, his cousins Emory (Linda) Larimore and Linda (Larry) Leaf and his nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Ted's Life will be held at the family's home in Newberry on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 PM. All who loved Ted are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor can be made to Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties, 311 NE 9th St, Chiefland, FL 32626.
Arrangements are under the care of Moring Funeral Home, Melrose, FL.
