I recently heard about Alonzo's story and it prompted me to see if he had a guest book on this site. I too lost my son at the hands of senselessness. My condolences to Alonzo's family and friends, but especially his Mom. I know how much I love my son and how good he was to everyone he met. His name is Brandon Carroll. He too has a book on legacy.com and it sounds like he and Alonzo had quite a few personality traits in common. I miss my son hugely and I know Alonzo's Mom & Dad feel the same. I'm very sorry for your loss.
You're in my prayers.

Zo,

Not a moment goes by that I don't think about all the laughs and bonds we shared. As Marines, graduates of the same high school, and most importantly as cousins, we were destined to be close. The absence of your body can never erase the presence of your spirit. I take your presence with me in every good thing that I do. I love you lil cuz. R.I.P.
