ELMYRA PATRICK Obituary
Elmyra Alice Beazlie Patrick, 93, passed peacefully May 14, 2011 into the waiting arms of her Lord Jesus, her husband of forty five years Rollin Wadsworth "Pat" Patrick, Sr., and her parents Rhoda and Robert Beazlie.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Rollin W. Patrick, Jr. (Diane Roesch) of Montverde, FL., Elmyra Alice Patrick Morris (Tom) of Jacksonville, FL., and Thomas Marden Patrick (Shannon) of Gainesville, FL.; grandchildren, brother Frank Beazlie (Annetta) of Gainesville, FL.,and many friends and relatives.
Myra was born July 28, 1917 in Newport News, VA, and graduated from Dixie County (Florida) High School. She was a charter member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL. After Pat's retirement from the University of Florida they traveled throughout the United States and Canada. Following his death in 1989 she moved to Jacksonville, FL. and later joined Southside Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and her neighbors continue to enjoy her garden. Her spirit and her smile will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Due to construction at her home church, a memorial service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 3:00PM at the Southside United Methodist Church, 3120 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207, Reverend Gary Webber officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to "RE: build" c/o Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1435 Atlantic Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.

Myra was a faithful member of the Primetime Connection Department of Southside Baptist Church.Each Sunday we were blessed with her positive words about her Savior. We miss her and give thanks for a life well lived for the Savior.
