MAZIE JENKINS Obituary
Age 91, Wife of the late Deacon Nathan Jenkins, Church Mother, peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Shands Hospital at University of Florida.
The Homegoing Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Grace Temple Outreach Ministries, Inc. (Micanopy, FL) where her Son & Daughter-In-Law, Dr. Michael A. Henderson & Dr. Elizabeth V. Henderson are Senior Pastors, with Elder Leroy James delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mother Jenkins will be viewed at the Funeral Home Friday 2:00-7:00PM - And at the Church on Saturday following the Eulogy. The Procession will form at Mother Jenkins' residence, 1630 NE 9th Avenue, Gainesville at 10:00AM.
Left to cherish her memory are: Son - Dr. Michael A. (& Dr. Elizabeth) Henderson of Gainesville, FL; Daughter Elizabeth Ellerby preceded her in death; Son - Willie Ellerby preceded her in death; Sister - Mamie (& Deacon Coy) Godbolt; Daughter-In-Law - Dottie Ellerbe of Gainesville, FL; Grands; Great Grands; Nieces & Nephews; Cousins; & Friends.
