Orion Roberts Obituary
Mr. Orion J. (Naou) Roberts passed away May 3, 2011 at his home. Orion, affectionately called Naou, was a Boxer, and a Painter. He is survived by his children; Patrick Adams, Janie Duncan, Patricia Green, April Riley, all of Gainesville, FL, Horace Roberts, Miami, Gardens, Jesse Roberts, Theresa Smith, both of Atlanta, GA, Robie Roberts, Camden, SC, Maxine Roberts, Carol City, FL, Robin Roberts, Jacksonville, FL, Linda C. Ellerbe, Ft. Sheridan, IL Dollina Clements, Palm Beach Garden, FL, and sister, Thelma Brown, Gainesville, FL.
Funeral services for Mr. Roberts will be held, 12:00noon, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Upper Room Church of God In Christ, Gainesville, FL, Rev., Karl Anderson, Pastor, and eulogist; burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N. W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Roberts will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 2-7pm, and on Saturday at the Church from 11:00am until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the home of Mrs. Mary Clements, 4518 S. E. 2nd Place, Gainesville, FL, at 11:15am to form the cortege.
