RUTH BARBER Obituary

BARBER, RUTH C.

Ruth C. Barber, age 57 of High Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was born in Clearwater, Florida to William Franklin and Helen Louise Smith Clark. She spent her life loving and living with her family on the family farm in High Springs. Ruth was a friend to many. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Clark.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Clark of High Springs; daughter, Tiffany R. Barber of Gainesville; son, Michael R. Dooraghi (Marci C. Leffingwell) of Boulder, CO; sister, Patricia Frazier (Jimmy) of High Springs; brothers, Buddy Clark (Jenny) of High Springs and Kenny Clark (Kimber) of High Springs;; 2 grandchildren, Jordan Calvert and Elias Arce and many other family members and her beloved dog Jasper.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor James Richardson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 23300 N.W. Old Bellamy Road Alachua, FL 32615 or Animal Rescue Friends, 24587 N.W. 199th Lane High Springs, FL 32643.

I was a high school classmate of Ruth's. I had only seen her once since then, I have fond memories of Ruth always being so kind to everyone.
I know she will be missed by those of you who love her.
