HARDING
Steven Harding Whitehurst, 62, of Branford died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Whitehurst was an Insurance Agent and owner of Preferred Service Insurance Agency. He was a former resident of Sebring, FL and graduated from Sebring High School. He was a Sergeant in the US Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Whitehurst moved to the Branford area in 1994. He was a Charter Member of Orchard Community Church in Lake City.
He is survived by his wife Emily-Rose Emmett Whitehurst, Branford, FL; Steven H. Whitehurst, Jr., Son, Ft. Campbell, KY; Stephanie Jeanne Minton (Michael), Daughter, Lake City, FL; George W. Whitehurst, III, Brother, Sebring, FL; Shelby Leigh Minton, Granddaughter and Dalton D. Minton, Grandson, both of Lake City, FL. His parents were the late George W. Whitehurst, Jr. and Jean Harding Whitehurst.
Memorial Service will be Monday, May 16th at 11:00AM at Peace Baptist Church in Branford, FL.

Steven Whitehurst will be missed greatly. He was the best insurance man I have ever had in my 30 years of business. He helped us get thru many business worries and guided me greatly with his knowledge of the world of insurance and always at the end of our conversation he alway remembered to say have a blessed day. Thank You Steve and may God comfort your family durning this sad time.
