Wilbur Jenkins Obituary
Mr. Wilbur Jenkins, age 77, life-long resident of Raleigh, FL, passed away June 1, 2011 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Jenkins, Raleigh, FL, children; Bruce M. Jenkins, Daryl Jenkins(Yolanda), Nina Jenkins(Fred), Evelyn Jenkins, Lola Long, Alfreida Mincey (Lorentha "Al"), all of Gainesville, FL, Wilbur Jenkins, Jr., (Betty Ann) Tampa, FL, Vivian Coleman (Oliver), New Orleans, LA, Deborah Jenkins, Woodbine, GA, sisters; Hattie Rowe, Sophronia Woods, Johnnie Mae Pelham(Donnell), all of Raleigh, FL; twenty-five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Jenkins will be held, 11:00am, Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Nolan Baptist Church, Raleigh, FL, Rev. James Ramsey, officiating; burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Archer, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Jenkins will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 10th, 2011 from 2-4pm, and at Nolan Baptist Church 6-8pm. On Saturday, he will repose at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Church on Saturday at 10:30am.
