Corrie Crow Brooks Pruitt Obituary

Corrie Crow Brooks Pruitt, age 85, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, with the Rev. Eddie McCright officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred L. Pruitt; and son, Thomas D. Brooks. Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her daughter, Nancy Massey, Gainesville; stepchildren, Ronald and Judy Pruitt, Jackie and Horace Manders, all of Lawrenceville and Linda Pruitt, Griffin; grandchildren, Michael and Lisa Massey, Gainesville, Jason and Stephanie Brooks, Woodstock, Jennifer and Jeff Holton, Acworth, Amy Coulson, Auburn, and Candi Sims, Cumming; 12 great-grandchildren; special niece, Claudia Keller; special nephew, Clee Atkinson; and several other nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1615 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75207; the American Lung Association of Georgia, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 3008, or your favorite charity. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045; 770-962-3100.
