Mary Eva Williams Obituary

Mary Eva Littreal Williams, 81, of 737 Long Circle, Cascade, Va., died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Danville Regional Medical Center.
She had been a resident of Riverside Rehabilitation and Health Care for the past 10 months.
Williams was born in Grayson County, Va., on Feb. 6, 1933, a daughter of the late Elmer Carlyle Littreal and Elizabeth Funk "Lizzie" Littreal.
Williams lived most of her life in Pittsylvania County and Danville, Va. She loved her family and playing Bingo.
She was of the Methodist faith.
On Oct. 13, 1951, she married William Samuel "Bill" Williams, who survives her.
In addition to her husband, of the residence, survivors include three daughters, Sandra Jones Irvin, of Danville, Va., Bonnie Hendrix and husband Gary of Danville and Sue Davis of Roanoke, Va.; a son, Sammy Williams and wife Robin of Danville; a brother, J.D. Littreal, of Fries, Va.; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Amy Michelle Williams; a brother, Mickey Littreal; and a sister, Betty Jo Vaughn.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church, 40 Crusader Lane, Fries, Va. 24330, with the Rev. Brian Edwards officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
The family received friends on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel from 7 until 8:30 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Williams family.
