Preacher Calvert, Danny, Leesa, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family. Pastor, your wife was such a gracious, loving lady, and the memories that I have as a child being part of the church while we were all at the corner of 5th and Willow Streets are fond, warm memories that I hold dear to my heart. Danny, Leesa, you are honorable and devoted children, just as Jerry was, and and I know how proud you all are to have been blessed with such a great father and mother. Leesa, the love your mother showed to all she came in touch with shows in how you were raised and how you treat people as well. I truly admire you, as I did your mother. Danny, you are a friend that I always enjoy seeing whenever the chance comes. I always enjoyed sitting with you and having coffee in Sunday school. Pastor, with all the troubles and heartaches this world throws at us, your early teachings of our Lord are rooted in me and countless others, and although we may not always adhere to His word, the teachings are still there. I still remember word for word many poignant points that you made years ago as our Pastor. I will always appreciate the wise council and true love that you have for us all. And anyone who knows you and your family then knows what a devoted and loving wife God has blessed you with having for 61 years. Mrs Calvert was a wonderful lady and will surely be missed by many. May our Lord bless you all. Chris Stokes

To all of the Calvert family, Curtis and myself express our deep sorrow at your loss. Georgia was a wonderful woman and a joy to be around. It's hard when we lose our parents, but if they know the Lord, we will most definitely see them again. May God be with you and hold you. Love, Curtis and Cheryl Martin
