Phillip Wiles Obituary
A native of Wilkes County, he was the son of the late Everette Hoke and Ruby Brewer Wiles.
Phil worked with Look Real Estate and Coldwell Banker for many years. He was a US Army veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Mountlawn Memorial Park, 196 Fan Key Rd., N. Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wiles; daughter, Michelle Wyatt and fiancé, Frank Goude; grandchildren, Zack, Tyler and Summer Wyatt; sis-ters, Peggy Craig and Kathy Watson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart Society of Gaston County, 1201 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
Condolences may be sent online by visiting www.mcleanfuneral.com.
McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia is serving the Wiles family.

Phil was a wonderful,kind,funny man and I am honored to have called him my friend. He helped my sis and I acquire many homes and was always there to answer our questions. He will be missed. My prayers go out to the family in their time of loss.

Phil this world will not be as bright with you gone. You were like a father to me, and the 18 years i worked with you at Look Real Estate you were always there for me, when i would talk to you about things you just always had the right answer. I pray for you Betty and Michelle, and grandchildren that you all can find the comfort with God's help, it is gonna be hard. I spent many hours with Phil at Work and he loved his Family so much. I know this is a very hard time, i have been there myself, but I will continue to pray for all of you. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend...Till we meet again.

Spent nearly every single day with Phil for over 5 years back in the 80's. We were a fixture on Garrison Blvd smoking in the parking lot of Look Real Estate - a habit we both gave up a long time ago. I'll never forget his quick wit, crooked smile and the wink he'd give when he realized you were in on the joke. Phil was like a big brother to me for many years - he will be sorely missed.
