Joel Sides Obituary
He was born in Gaston County on April 24, 1957 to the late James David and Betty Reel Sides.
Joel was survived by his wife Scheffney Sides; son Christopher Sides (fiancée Brittany Brading); brother David Sides (fiancée Susan Long); step daughters Kelly and Angie Walker; grandchildren Avery Sides, Cameron Walker and Taylor Jenkins; nephew David Lee Sides.
He was employed by Carolina Piping Systems Inc.
A memorial service will be 4:00pm Sunday at A Simple Service, 451 Hospital Drive, Gastonia NC 28054, 704-884-0150.
