Jennifer Yurie Markovsky

Jennifer Markovsky, age 35, died tragically on Friday, November 27th, 2015 in Colorado Springs. She was a compassionate wife, devoted mother, loving sister and thoughtful daughter.

Jennifer Yurie Ah King Markovsky was born on December 22, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii to John and Judy (Omura) Ah King.  She was raised in Waianae, Hawaii and in 1997, graduated from the local high school.  She then attended American Intercontinental University and briefly worked as a retail sales associate.

She married Paul Markovsky on July 7, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jennifer loved crafting, baking, cooking and enjoying anything outdoors.  She will be best remembered for her love of children, selfless and creative spirit, and the devotion she had towards helping others.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, and her son and daughter Allen & Milla.  She is also survived by her mother: Judy Omura; her father: John Ah King and her grandmother: Yoneko Ah King, all of Waianae, Hawaii.  Also surviving is her brother: Travis Ah King of New York City; her sisters: Elaine (Tony) Hafner of Maili, Hawaii; and Michelle (Juan) China of Kennewick, Washington.

Memorial Service, 7:00PM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, 2770 N. Chestnut, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80907. 

Visitation, 8:00PM-9:00PM, Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Church.

Funeral Services, 10:00AM, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Holy Theophany Orthodox Church. 

Graveside Services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
