Clarence Eugene Bunnell Jr.

Clarence Eugene Bunnell Junior, entered Heaven's gates on December 3, 2009 at his home in Fountain, CO at the age of 80. He was born July 20, 1929 in Hitchcock County, Nebraska the fifth of six children born to Clarence E. and Mabel M. (Kittle) Bunnell. He was drafted into the Army in June of 1952 and retired after 20 years of service to his country. After the Army he went to school for HVAC Technician and worked for Civil Service until his retirement. On March 15, 1957 Clarence married Rosa Konig in Benkelman, Nebraska. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Jeff Bunnell. One brother: Ray E. Bunnell and two sisters: Wilma Hovey and Evelyn Ady also preceded him in death. Clarence is survived by his wife, Rosa. Two sons: David Bunnell and his wife Vivian of Flushing, Michigan; Michael E. Bunnell and his wife Gina of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Two daughters: Anita K. Templeton of Fountain, Colorado; Renee L. Niles and her husband Hugh of Carrizozo, New Mexico. Fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Two brothers: George Bunnell of Oxford, Nebraska, Billy Bunnell of Beverly, Nebraska as well as numerous relatives and friends. Clarence will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00a.m Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. Hwy 85/87 Fountain, CO. A lieu of flowers donate to Pikes Peak Hospice or Memorial Cancer Center.
