Growing up with Eldon was so much FUN! I have so many fond memories of all the nights we played kick the can, or the year we went sledding nearly every day and played games and drank hot chocolate!I can't believe he's really gone! We will miss him!

It took us aback to hear of Eldon's untimely departure. Alexander and Cassandra were pre-schoolers when you moved away from Galena Drive. Memories of those years bring smiles. We pray for God's comfort for you.

My mom has a trailer in Colorado Springs and I remember how much she appreciated Eldon and Glaser Gas for working with her. I am so sorry for your loss and wish your family peace and comfort at this difficult time.

I was at the service yesterday, but unfortunately had to leave before I could extend my personal condolences. It was a beautiful and fitting service to a wonderful man...he will me missed. Cassie, your tribute was truly inspirational and moving. Thank you for sharing your true feelings in such a beautiful way. Alex, your words spoke volumes about a great man. I'm sure he is very proud of the fine young man you are. My healing thoughts are with you always.

Diane, Alex and Cassie, We are so sorry that we couldn't be there today to help tell Eldon goodbye. He was a very special man and we enjoyed watching him grow up and become the great man that he became. We remember the fun times that we had taking him water skiing and just being around him. Diane, Cassie, and Alex: we just found out about Eldon's death today. So sorry to have missed the funeral. Cody especially has many fond memories of slumber parties at your home and being entertained by Eldon's wit. Eldon was certainly a dedicated father and the kids had his total support in all their endeavors. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of great sadness.

Eldon, you were born the year I graduated from high school then I left for college and on to Phoenix to live. From your family and friends you were so loved. I treasure the moments we visited at my brother's funeral in November. Two successful,dynamic young men gone too soon and in such a short time of each other. I told you that you were the best looking Glaser to come out of the Colorado clan! You were so brave to explain ALS .... all I could think of was .... why you!

Diane, as you know I haven't known you or Eldon very long. Just long enough to see a love that everyone admired and the friendship to go with it. You were very blessed to have that. Eldon had such a sense of humor..always made me laugh. He will be watching over you and the children even though you can't see him or hear him, but he will be there....right next to God Our Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I am seeking the intercession of Our Lady of Sorrows to wrap her mantle around all of you to comfort you as only she could and knows the loss of someone she loved dearly. I keep you and your children in my daily prayers for strength, mercy and His Divine Love to be with you always.

Diane and family, please accept my deepest condolences at the recent loss of Eldon.
As a pilot, Eldon held my life, and the lives of two of my closest friends, in his very capable hands as we made a trip to the Minnesota lake country and the Foss lake cottage almost 30 years ago. For all the travels I have made since then, the only time I have actually seen Mount Rushmore was through the window of Eldon’s plane. I remember laughing as Eldon talked with the air traffic controller to adjust the flight plan so we could “see those heads”, which were a little ways off our original course.
I feel fortunate to have known Eldon, and I will always have fond memories of him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
