To the Ted's Shoe Store family- I'm very saddened to learn of John's death. As a Northampton native, I've long felt comforted that Ted's is still here. John and his family, along with the store's staff, have always been helpful to me. John did business the "old fashioned way" with a personal touch. I'm really sorry he's gone, and I send my deepest condolences.

I have very fond memories of John from our days together at EHS. He was such a good friend that I made my sister leave our planned route from San Francisco to Mexico just to go to Camp Pendleton so we could see him. Although we lost touch over the years he has always held a special place in my heart. Sending up prayers of strength for you, his family.
