Anne was my counselor at Camp Killooleet. She was kind, lively and only five years older than the "Oldest Girls". She was both adult and "almost our age". I am not sure I ever saw her again, but she left an indelible brightness. I wish I had kept up with her.

Very sorry to hear of Anne's recent passing. She was one of the youngest & best undergraduate Art History professors I had at UMass in the mid-1970s & taught a course in German Expressionist Art. This enabled me to develop a strong appreciation for that particular movement, which has never left me. The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC (where I work) has a small but significant collection of works by German Expressionist artists & has also mounted exhibitions on that subject over the years, so I have been fortunate, indeed. Best wishes to her surviving family. Sincerely, Nicholas Martin

I am very sorry to hear of Anne's passing and send my condolences to Larry and her family. She was a talented professor and I always appreciated her support of the University Gallery (now the UMCA). She was always very kind to me and I will miss her.

Anne was a wonderful colleague; a truly thoughtful and kind person. My thoughts are with her, her family and her friends.
