Ben's step-daughter Rachel recently shared her time with me attending my father's funeral at Douglas Funeral Home. I wish I could have been there to give the same support in return. Ben was one month younger than my father by a day and he passed a short 2 months after my own father. Although I did not know him, I wanted to write a message in support of Rachel, Lila, and the rest of the family. I am certain all of you have been sharing stories, memories and tears. May they help heal your wounds of loss.
