Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jim, but felt like I knew him through the kind and loving words of his daughter Julie, and I definately liked what I heard about him. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and family. I had the extreme pleasure of taking care of Jim and Nancy at the Commons. His ability to make us laugh, his loving attitude, and his way with people will be greatly missed. God a very special angel with him. Kathy Daly

I was very saddened to see today's obituaries. I am employed by St. Mary's Hospital and knew Jim when he was assisting patients and visitors at Entrance #1 (with the waterfall) as a volunteer. He was such a pleasure to talk to and was always in a good mood with a positive frame of mind. I remember the tatoo he got that went around his upper arm (the left arm I think). I am certain that family and friends all have wonderful memories of him and I pray that those memories carry you through this very difficult time. My prayers are with you. Bev Eddy, Grand Junction.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had only met Jim once through my travels and was delighted to have the opportunity. Although he was recovering from hip replacement, he was in good spirits and it was a delightful visit. Love and Prayers, Lesle Wright

Jim was a distinguished, caring, and devoted man. I had the extreme pleasure of being a resident aide at the Commons while Jim and Nancy lived there. His smile and ability to help people have a great day will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I also feel the loss of this special man and true friend.
