James Schaefer Obituary

James Rudolph Schaefer July 2, 1936 – August 13, 2010 James Rudolph Schaefer died August 13, 2010 as a result of a car accident in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was born on July 2, 1936 and attended grade school and high school in Grand Junction. After graduation he moved to Portland, Oregon where he has resided ever since. He worked his entire career (1954-1998) at Modern Fire Screen, a manufacturer of fireplace equipment. He will be missed by everyone he met. He is survived by his aunts, Betty Porter, and Patty Foust (John); cousins, John W. Foust and Connie Cox; Connie's children and grandchildren, Toby Wolf and Patty Lynn Wolf; Chris and Jenny Arms and Quinton Wolf, Bobby Orangebee and Norm Hamilton; his ex-wife, Marilyn Hall and special friend, Ron Graham. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Morley. A visitation will be held Thursday August 26, 2010 at Martin Mortuary beginning at 4:00 p.m., A celebration of James' life will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Martin Mortuary Chapel.
