Wayne, Iris, Robyn, & family, I was very sad to hear about Clara's homegoing- (today). Herbert has been having more problems and we just came home from Duke last night. If I had known I would have come last night to Norris's. Herbert came to Twin Springs to tell me this morning when Mrs. Boothe told him. It was to late then to come to the funeral.
Clara was a special person and I loved her. May god give you each comforting love and joyful memories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Joan (& Herbert too)
