PERCY HAMMOCK Obituary
CALLANDS-Percy Hammock age 72 of 18985 Franklin Turnpike, Callands, VA died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Danville Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 15, 1938, in Franklin County, the son of the late Walter Hammock and the late Lessie Adkins Hammock.
Mr. Hammock is survived by his wife Annie Mae McDaniel Hammock.
He is also survived by two daughters, Debra H. Hastings of Danville, and June Annette Rigney of Cascade: two sons, Percy L. Hammock, Jr. and Walter Allen Hammock both of Chatham; six sisters, Sally Eanes of Milton, TN, Shelby Shelton of Danville, Virginia Shelton, Geneva Shelton, Peggy Hammock, Mary Jane Rigney all of Dry Fork; two brother, Dudley Hammock of Danville and Donnie Hammock of Blairs; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one sister and two brothers, Lena Eastwood, Everette Hammock and Stuart Hammock.
Funeral services will be conducted at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Michael E. Hearp, the Rev. John Rigney and the Rev. Daryl Joyce officiating. Burial will be at Highland Burial Park, in Danville.
The family will receive friends at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM and at other times will be at the residence.
