Preston Lee Guill
Preston Lee Guill, age 18 of 252 Holland Road , Pelham, NC died Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
Born February, 11, 1993 in Danville, he was the son of Gerald Lee Guill of Danville and Lisa Sandridge Guill of Pelham. He enjoyed many things including fishing, music and was an avid video game player. He had a kind heart and was good to everyone who knew him. As a younger child he especially enjoyed spending time with his Grandfather Maynard "PaPaw", you never saw one without the other. While the loss of Preston at such a young age is devastating for his family, we take comfort knowing that not only is he with our Lord but also once again on his PaPaw's lap.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Kenseth and Jordan Guill, both of Pelham. His paternal grandmother Pamela McDowell of Danville, his paternal great grandmother, Hilda Leigh of Danville, uncles William Sandridge and wife Toni of Pelham, Travis McDowell of Keeling, Aunts Denise Scearce and husband William of Lynch Station, Sharon Scearce of Pelham, Sandy Sandridge-Moser and husband Keith of Chesapeake, and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Maynard "Papaw" & Shirley Sandridge, and his paternal grandfather Ray McDowell.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Albert Moser on Sunday August 21, 2011, at 2pm at Barker Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be private.

I knew Preston when i lived beside them in the trailor park, i couldnt believe when my dad told me what happened. I havent seen or spoken to him in years but i am sorry for your loss and he was a wonderful guy.

Lisa and family...we are so sorry for your loss. I can remember seeing Preston when he was such a small little boy playing in his grandfathers yard or following Maynard around. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers!

Preston was like the brother i never had growing up we spent almost every weekend and summer together @ his papas house we always use to play the guitar and sing Wiley Nelson songs with his papa when we were little and we also use to play in the snow and build snowmen together when it snowed. Most of my memories from when i was little are with you Preston and you will always be missed and in my heart!!! Love Kayla
