Dearest Liz and family,
I am very sorry and would like to express my heartfelt condolescences on the loss of your beloved husband and father. Never in the world would I have thought that he would not make it again. He was, from what I can judge from the times we met in the virtual world, a very unique person, someone with incredible courage and stamina, and a man whom I admired for his bright wit, his great sense of humor and that fine irony that seemed so very typical for him.

I remember how much he helped me when we discussed my plans to visit the USA, he provided a lot of input and was really enthusiastic - to an amount that I now feel as if I have let him down, and I regret the fact that I did not have the chance to meet him in real life.

My prayers are said for all of you and all those who, like myself, know that they have lost a dear friend.

Rest in peace, dear Jim, and may God bless you and comfort your loving family.
