Paula, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your precious mother. I had so much fun spending time at your house and remember how she had supper waiting when we got off the bus knowing we would be starving! I know you and your family will miss her terribly, but what a light she was! Your family was part of my growing up. Please give my love to your sisters and the grands.

Remembering Dorlee from our school years at Eola High School. She and I were in the same class and graduated in 1946. As I recall I haven't seen her after that - I always thought a lot of her. And as I remember many days at school she wanted to swap lunches with me. I don't really know why, because my lunch consisted of a biscuit sandwich and maybe peanut butter sandwich as we didn't have much, but appreciated what we did have. She would always have the greatest lunches including grapes and good tasty sandwiches. She was very special all during our school years. She will be missed by so many people. She is at peace now that she has gone home - such a peaceful place and will suffer no more pain. May God's peace and love be with your family.
My name was Velda Deene Cunningham and now my name is Velda Deene Samuels. FYI

Stella, Paula, Lori and families,
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. Dorlee was a wonderful lady and I have many wonderful, fun memories of days and nights at ya'lls house. Don't know if we could count all the late night(or early morning) breakfasts we cooked for our parents. What beautiful memories of a beautiful lady. May God's peace and love be with all of you at this hard time.
Love,
Ann and Harold
