Although we have not been in the family as long as most we were introduced to Dick and Sandy, Gina, Troy and Creg about 8 years ago we have become very fond of the entire family. For the past couple of years we have enjoyed the frequent get togethers for breakfast, lunch or dinners,or gatherings at Gun Lake Casino to do a little gambling together with Dick,Sandy and Troy and getting together at their house at the lake. Where Dick enjoyed so much taking us for rides on their pontoon or just sitting on the deck enjoying a diet coke. We have had several conversations with them getting to know more about the family. Dick loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed reminising about his experiences out in the woods hunting for that big buck up near Big Rapids, or his fishing experiences with Sandy, Troy and their friends on their camping experiences to Lake Erie. If there is one thing I could say about Dick Kugelard is that he was a very loving caring husband, father, and grandfather. He thought the world and all of his family and friends And he also thought about serving his community as a firefighter for 30 years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. And was always there for his kids and grandkids when in need. I have got to say Dick,Sandy and Troy always welcomed us with a great big hug. We have been blessed to have found this family and to have them being part of our family. We only have one regret. And that is not being able to have known Dick longer and spend more time with him. This is one sister-in-law and brother-in law that is truly going to miss him. R.I.P. Dick Kugelard
