Otto Poser Obituary
Cremation took place under the direction of Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown.
Otto Poser Jr. lived his entire 89 years on the farm/ranch he was born on, north of Denton. He spent his life doing what he loved: raising registered Black Angus cattle, farming and devoting his life to his family.
Otto was born to Otto and Hattie Poser on Aug. 13, 1922. He married the love of his life, Ella Mae "Dolly" Benton, on Jan. 19, 1946. Together, they raised five sons. Before the war, Otto dreamed of being a pilot, but his calling was the farm and ranch. He started Hilltop Angus Ranch in 1964, with the purchase of three registered stock, and the next 60 years saw him bend, but never falter. Today, Hilltop Angus is one of the premier Angus ranches in the state.
Otto gave everyone around him many wonderful memories to carry with them forever. Otto passed on his wit, strength, and passion for life to each of his children and grandchildren. He loved his grand- and great-grandchildren as his own, and at the sight of them that twinkle and smile would come over him, even to the last day.
Otto is survived by his wife, Dolly; his five sons, Norman (Sharon), Gary (Carmen), Bradley (Colleen), Kevin (Susan) and Kirk; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Hattie; and his siblings, Harold Poser and Laura Mosby.
There will not be a service; the family will gather and spread his ashes over those wind-blown hills that he so loved.
Memorials may be made to the Central Montana Medical Center ER fund.

I cannot even begin to imagine all of the love and memories that will be shared by Otto's loved ones and friends when they get together. I heard a saying about a special person one time - "They just don't make em like that anymore". That pretty well fits Otto. God Bless you and know our prayers are with you. Ed and Linda B - Lewistown
