Jack Natzke Obituary
Jack Jason Natzke, 5, departed this life and entered into the arms of Jesus to an eternal life with Him, Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born October 16, 2009, to Renee (Siekmann) and Jason Natzke. He joined his big sister Ella to complete this wonderful family. Jack and Ella enjoyed playing games and activities for hours on end, yet had quality time to "bother" each other. He loved to cuddle with Mom, and checked in on her most nights. He spent hours watching and playing sports with his Dad.
Singing songs and learning about Jesus was enjoyable to Jack at Our Saviour Lutheran Sunday School, VBS, 3K and 4K Pre-School, and in his brief days at Trinity Lutheran Kindergarten. He will be missed by his classmates, teachers, and school community.
Jack filled our hearts with love during his brief time on earth leaving lasting memories for all of us who knew and cherished him. His smile and his enthusiasm for life were contagious. Countless hours spent with Grandma Roxanne and all the daycare children included learning, plenty of activities, and most importantly, lap time. Jack loved farming with Grandpa Dan and learned so much about cows, crops, and farm machinery.
Jack is survived by his parents, Renee and Jason Natzke; his big sister, Ella; his grandparents, Dan and Barb Natzke, Stephen and Roxanne Siekmann; great-grandparents, Gene and Doris Plate, Vernon and Joyce Siekmann, Roger and Merlette Dottei; aunts and uncles, Jeremy (Godfather) and Heather Natzke, Jenna and Jacob Nonemacher, Christopher and Carly Siekmann; cousins, Cora, Caitlin, Caylee, Allie, Temperance, and Clay; his Godparents, Aaron Siekmann and Christa Sink; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Amos and Loraine Natzke, Elmer Treichel, John and Beverly Barnum.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 120 S. Henry St. Visitation will continue from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church with Pastor David Hatch officiating. To send on-line condolences visit www.prokowall.com. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
The Natzke family expresses their gratitude to the loving, caring quality staff at Aurora Baycare ER and St. Vincent Hospital Pediatric ICU. They put their knowledge, heart, and soul into their care for Jack. The impact that Jack had in his final days, especially through all the posting on "JackStrong" will be treasured by not only the family, but by so many that Jack touched, even though they never met him. Thanks to all that posted, but more for the thousands across the world that were praying for Jack and the rest of us! May we use the events of the past week to draw us closer to Jesus, our families, and the community of believers. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Our Jack is now an angel.

We don't know why Jack had so brief a time on this earth but we do know that no one that is loved is ever lost and no one who has touched hearts like he did can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which he has left us with.

I too am so sorry for your loss but am thankful that you know where your son is now and you know you will see him again. I have grandchildren and could never be as brave as you have all been. You are certainly a testimony of God's sustaining Grace. Jesus is raising him now with all of the incredible joys of Heaven. I am sure that if he could he would tell everyone please don't weep for me for too long. I am healed and I just arrived here earlier than expected, after all this is the goal of a Christian, but am so looking forward to seeing all of you, please give your hearts to Jesus. Dear Jack's family,
Your son & brother brought pure joy to my heart as I watched him not only interact with his fellow Eagle Care friends, but also with his sister. The short time I got to play baseball, basketball, tennis, kickball, cards, coloring, & the guess box with him will always be cherished as a little life so made in His pure image.
