Ralph Wilcox Obituary
Ralph Thomas Wilcox Sr. 88, Pulaski, passed away Wednesday morning, August 31, 2016, with his family at his side. The son of the late Joseph and Ida (Olson) Wilcox was born July 3, 1928, in De Pere. Ralph married the love of his life, June Secor, on September 25, 1948, at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. He worked for 30 years at the US Paper Mill in De Pere and was also a farmer all of his life. Ralph enjoyed polka dancing with his wife, June. He also enjoyed riding his 1965 Harley. The couple enjoyed traveling, and had visited many places in the United States. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, June; eight children: Ralph Jr. (Marilyn), Pulaski, Roy (JoAnn), Pulaski, Ramona (Doug) Kornaus, Pulaski, Wayne (Joyce Yuma), Gillett, Roxann Zuleger (Guy Mathena), Suamico, Gordon (Karen), Pulaski, Peter (Sandi), Pulaski, and Rhonda (Donald) Matuszak, Pulaski; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and one son-in-law, James Wojkiewicz, Pulaski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law; one daughter, Robin Wojkiewicz; one daughter-in-law, Mary Wilcox; and two grandsons: Jeremy and Aaron Zuleger.
Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Saturday. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:00 noon at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding. Entombment will take place in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
The family extends a special thanks to the entire staffs of Unity Hospice, Forest Glen Assisted Living, and Good Shepherd Nursing Home for their special care and support of our father.
