Jack Cary "Bunky" Fricks, 69, passed away on April 29, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Chris Fricks; 3 daughters; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Chris, We are so sorry to hear about Bunky. As you may know we lost my sister (Betty) on April 1st. Also lost a cousin on April 30th. So it is still very hard for me to visit mortuary's. Jack Fricks AKA Bunky was an amazing man and he will always be a legend to all of us from Poe Mill. Bunky taught me alot as I was growing up and I loved him very much as well as my sister Chris. Together they were the most amazing couple that you could ever meet as well a great family and friends to all. Bunky you will be missed but we all know you are in a better place and now you are with Mano,Heath,your Mom and Dad and heaven is a much better place. Love you Bunky and I will miss you. Jack "Bunky" was a wonderful person and goes way back with my dad and my uncles Chuck & Steve Cantrell, he lived close to my grandparents years ago in Poe Mill, we all have fond memories of him and Mano was a dear friend to me and my brothers growing up. We have the whole family in our prayers, Chris and Amy and the rest, know that God as his reason for everything. God Bless.

Chris, I just want you to know how sorry i am to hear about Bunky,while my mother was in the hospital i cam to check on him and he was asleep and i did not see anyone in the room so i did not disturbe him. it saddens me so much but i pray god will give you and your children strength to endure the days ahead. he was a good man and Heath love him very much and you also. he is there in heaven with mano,heath,inga and his parents. god be with you and if i can ever do anything for you please let me know. I love you and again i am so sorry for your loss,i know the pain all too well.

Dearest Chris, I am so sorry for your loss.I know this is so hard for you and your whole family. My first thought was he just got to heaven to be with Mano,wow can you imagine how happy they were to see each other? he is with his mother and daddy and his precious grandson Heath,if you only knew how much heath loved you both and as sad as it is,Bunky is with his beloved son that he lost so long ago and his grandson.I know Inga will keep them in line. may god bless and comfort you and your family in days to come. you will always be in thought and prayer.
