Rebecca Whitten Ramirez, 86, widow of Armando Ramirez, died Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Born in Guntersville, AL, she was a daughter of the late Elisha F. and Lottie B. Davis Whitten.
She was a retired civil service employee and was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Powdersville.
She is survived by a daughter, Annette Smyre and husband Walter; two sons, Richard Ramirez and Arthur "Art" Ramirez and wife Kelly; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Foothills Presbyterian Home in Easley, with a visitation immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Providence Presbyterian Church, Columbarium Fund, 4000 Hwy 153, Powdersville, SC 29611.
