Fred, just saw the death of your dear Shirlee, fond memories of our camping days with wheel go. I lost my husband and best friend in dec. 2012 so I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss. Not many wheel go people left.

Dearest Uncle Fred, Janice, John, Roger and Bob, I'm so sad to hear of Aunt Shirl's passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen any of you, my mom, Pat Feekin and I enjoyed the Christmas letters your mom sent every year. We would laugh at her writings and muse how it was just like we remembered her to be. I have so many great memories of time spent at your house; the cool playhouse in the backyard; the fun wooden kitchen set and baby furniture on the front porch, Santa's visits, wanting to stay the night and then crying to go home and so much more. It was always a house full of laughter and good times. More than anything I remember her great laugh, the fun bantering at the kitchen table between Aunt Shirl and her "Freddy" - she was a special lady with an infectious laugh, a fun and funny outlook on life and the world and I'm sure she will be very missed by all of you. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolences, Pam Feekin (Pick)

I remember my Mom, Jeanne Olson Canaday Hosier's cousin Shirlee. She was my second cousin. I remember going to her house so she could cut my brothers' hair on a stool in her yard. I was little and played with John, while she was barbering. A wonderful sweet lady always had a nice smile.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have so many good memories of Shirlee and all of the family. Growing up with Janice and never forgetting the 'pepper nuts' that her Mom made.

Hugs from Council Bluffs.
