Dearest Uncle Fred, Janice, John, Roger and Bob, I'm so sad to hear of Aunt Shirl's passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen any of you, my mom, Pat Feekin and I enjoyed the Christmas letters your mom sent every year. I remember my Mom, Jeanne Olson Canaday Hosier's cousin Shirlee. She was my second cousin. I remember going to her house so she could cut my brothers' hair on a stool in her yard. I was little and played with John, while she was barbering. A wonderful sweet lady always had a nice smile.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have so many good memories of Shirlee and all of the family. Growing up with Janice and never forgetting the 'pepper nuts' that her Mom made.
