It´s been 10 years since we said goodbye to you my dear Winnie. You are missed and my memories with you bring peace and joy to my heart. You were such an amazing woman, so wise, so very talented and fiercely independent, especially back in the days when it wasn´t so "trendy" for a woman to blaze her own path!
I sure miss you!

Thank you all for writing in this book. In time, I will get to my formal "Thank You Notes", but for now, please keep these entries coming. All of Winnie's little family members are loving to read these. I hope some of you will write humorous stories or memories of Winifred as well as sending us your comforting wishes. I have asked Ruth Wells to write a funny story about Mother here in the next few days so her grandchildren can hear it. It's a good one!

I am so happy now that I got to see Winnie one last time before she passed the next day. And when I sang Amazing Grace at her funeral, it felt like she was talking to me. And it felt really great to do it. I miss her a lot but I know shes ok now in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I did not know Ms. Estes, but was stunned by the beautiful picture that I had to read about her. What a LADY she was.
